v7.90.0164, 04-may-2009 to v7.90.0254, 07-may-2009:
Thanks for adding the options for configuring the close buttons on tabs.
The enhancement for dealing with overlong filenames is cool.

Re: Check for tab pointing to renamed folder
Just saw the newly styled unavailable list, i think its much nicer now. I did not realize until now that double-clicking on the unavailable list takes me one level up(even when "dbl-click on empty space goes up" is unchecked). I think you never mentioned this before but a nice one though....

Re: Folder thumbnails, 2
If you're worried about performance you could safely remove the check for folder.jpeg and folder.bmp. People can convert them if they need to, they're both uncommon.

Re: Folder thumbnails, 2
Thanks so much for fulfilling my number one request! Folder thumbnails - folder icons display a thumbnail of any file in the folder named "folder.*" (where * is an image extension, especially png, jpg, jpeg, gif and bmp) Why jpeg ? I find this a rather uncommon extension. It's just an alte...

Check for tab pointing to renamed folder
When you rename a folder in XYplorer it could check to see if you have any tabs open at that folder, and update them to point to the new name so they are still valid. Pretty minor thing but means you wouldnt see those scary all-grey list-views as much. Yes they're scary, because they look like somet...

Re: File Info Tips with many .avi files causes Xyplorer to hang
What happens is if you hover a whole bunch of files, XYplorer will stop responding because your CPU is working 100% to fetch the information... then Vista thinks the application has stopped responding and asks you if you want to close it. I don't understand why it takes so much power when Properties...

128x128 thumbnail of image causes crash: Run-time error '97'
Unfortunately XYplorer seems a bit buggy in Vista. I wasn't getting as many crashes in XP. I ran into a strange bug which wasn't happening before. It happened only in my "My Pictures" folder, which is C:\Pics\. If I went to view it with 128x128 thumbnails, it crashed. It only happened in t...

Edit Configuration File... does nothing on first run
The first time XYplorer is run, Tools>Edit Configuration File... does nothing, because there is no ini file... I suggest, on the first run it is created before the program launches. Otherwise at least grey-out the menu item.

Re: Runtime error '9' subscript out of range
True - I just had this error happen, and I wasn't do anything special. I have no idea why it happened, which I know is pretty useless as a bug report, but just letting you know as a good tester should.

Re: File Info Tips with many .avi files causes Xyplorer to hang
Just confirming this still happens, and under Vista it seems to crash XY on the second hang. I think Show tip only when hovering should be enabled by default.

Folder thumbnails, 2
Resurrecting my #1 feature request from a few years ago . Though I see someone else asked for it last year . Folder thumbnails - folder icons display a thumbnail of any file in the folder named "folder.*" (where * is an image extension, especially png, jpg, jpeg, gif and bmp). The latter w...

Problem renaming files names longer than pane width
When renaming a folder in the tree, if the name of the folder is longer than the width of the column, you have problems renaming it because the label doesn't scroll like it does in the list - your cursor just disappears off the window.

Startup crash with altered [Register] key
