Re: Show Caption Toggle

Ctrl+Numpad Add serves a dual role. In column views it autosizes columns now; in thumbnail view it will cycle caption display on and off. First remove your own Customized Keyboard Shortcut for viewing thumbnail #1. Actually, just change it to something else other than Ctrl+Numpad Add. Then in the sa...

Re: Bolding a right most tab causes the left most tab to disappear

No worries. I just removed an infrequently used vi:<pick> tab. Goodbye problem.

Re: Bolding a right most tab causes the left most tab to disappear

I'm not sure I buy that totally. Yes, as I mentioned it only happens when the right most tab is close to the end of the panel. I still think it's odd though Don. In the last few minutes I've found out that it only happens when the default (right most tab) is on it locked home position. When it's on ...

Re: Bolding a right most tab causes the left most tab to disappear

Hi GreetingsFromPoland, thanks for the input. In my case I didn't mess with default tab. In both cases the default is set as my right most tab. When I turn off default for that right most tab the disappearance of tab 1 (C:\) still occurs. So, the disappearing act of tab 1 occurs when my right most t...

Bolding a right most tab causes the left most tab to disappear

An odd issue but I think it may be a bug. When I have bolded active tab set in Configuration and I have my normal locked tabs which extend basically the full width XYplorer, and the active (bolded) tab is the right end tab my left tab (1) is missing. If the active bolded tab is any tab other than th...

Re: Multi step shortcuts

Hey highend. This is actually a good idea for those that want to accomplish multiple actions from one lead key and several secondary keys for the second stroke. It works best though if you can spare a single key to invoke the menu and use immediately adjacent keys. I used the " ` " Grave A...

Re: Expand tree

Have you read the earlier posts? https://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?p=216572#p216572 . If you do as that post states along with what Don suggested, when you single click a folder in the list it will open and expand that folder in the tree. - Tools > Configuration > General > Mouse, Menus, U...

Re: missing icon and caption of ctb in catalog when ctb not in toolbar

Yes, I suppose the way I wrote it, is more like directly running a script. Either way works. Maybe I should have stuck with (at least for my example): :ctb39 since that, with the same caption, works fine. Though using the syntax I suggested, ::button ctb31, 2 with the "2" you can run the r...

Re: missing icon and caption of ctb in catalog when ctb not in toolbar

Maybe this doesn't solve the issue totally, but you can get an icon if you use this format in the Caption block:
Caption: Thumbnail Maintenance|:viewthumbs
Location: ::button ctb39,1

Re: Expand tree

I thought he would have already seen v25.30.0015 by his last entry. In any case, single clicking on a folder in the list and having the corresponding folder open in the tree can be done with the option I gave above without having Configuration | General | Tree and List | Tree | Expand tree nodes on ...

Color filter on folder in tree

Hi Don, with the new beta v25.30.0016 which rounds corners for color filters with borders / frames such as: B:prop:#empty:2;B:prop:#contains.desktop.ini:1 AND B:prop:#itemcount:1|pfr //s-shape, w-wide, f-frame,b-2pixels I definitely see the rounded frame in the list but not in the tree. The frame is...

Re: XYplorer Modern Style: iconized tabs

Yes, it does look fine. I wasn't sure if Windows Style Theme, which I was using before you came up with "Modern", had any gap at all between tabs previously. It's barely noticeable in light mode since it's only a pixel or 2. Don't get me wrong, I've got no problem with it. Maybe someone wh...
