Re: Option to have tree view per split pane instead of only one that affects both
Whew, this thread kept living. :D Maybe I'll add two "statements" just for the shizzles. First, the sarcastic one: Yeah, UX is so overrated! Second, the "life is short, just solve your issue" one: I solved mine by buying the competitor's product that has the dual tree. Case close...

Re: Option to have tree view per split pane instead of only one that affects both
For anyone wondering the same thing: Directory Opus seems to have an option to enable dual tree views.

Re: Option to have tree view per split pane instead of only one that affects both
That's not possible. There is only one tree and no change to that is planned in short time frame. If this is fulfilled: https://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=23092 A script could change trees on demand... That's too bad. Well, last hope is this to conclude that do I actually buy XYp...

Re: Option to have tree view per split pane instead of only one that affects both
1. Leave the right pane (acts as TARGET) active (as in if you just worked with the right pane to paste items or such) 2. Move your eye focus to the tree view and think "...and now I have to browse to different SOURCE view in left pane" 3. Click anything on tree view to browse your "le...

Re: Option to have tree view per split pane instead of only one that affects both
I need to * keep the state of the treeview separate for pane 1 and pane 2 * I don't want to ever change the second pane location when touching the tree view that is NEXT TO the PANE 1 I noticed, that I changed (or added a tab if the pane 2 tab was locked) the location of the pane 2 multiple and mult...

Re: Ability to copy optical drive directly
Wait a second... by free you mean trial... and if trial is "the free version", it has whole different feature set than the licensed version? If that is true, then the trial is very misleading, but I think that I am getting it wrong here.

Re: Ability to copy optical drive directly
Thanks for the fast reply. If not: Dragging drive letters from the tree is a dangerous process -> A feature that will probably never be fulfilled... Why it is dangerous operation to copy a optical media directly? How that e.g. differs from an ISO creation process where you "just image your opti...

Ability to copy optical drive directly
I am archiving 300 CDs and DVDs at the moment and it is a bit pain without the ability to just drag and drop the optical drive to a destination location and get it copied. To just copy a media to a destination, I have to currently: 1. Make sure, that the left pane is selected 2. Select a optical dri...

Option to have tree view per split pane instead of only one that affects both
Currently there is only one tree view, which selections change also the second pane's location if it is active during tree view browsing. For my workflow, I absolutely require that both panes have their own tree view so both split panes don't get changed "randomly" when "one is just l...
