catalog: switch to exclude certain categories from auto-optimization

Post by autocart »

The catalog with the tweaks as described here: viewtopic.php?p=215603#p215603
is better than ever before. Still, my brain keeps coming up with ideas how to improve it even further. Here is another:

If auto-optimization is ON, then it would be nice if I could switch certain categories to a state where they never get collapsed. Fixed in unfolded state, so to say.

I know, this might be extra effort and it's not particularly important, but if you have time and motivation one day, I think it would be a great little addition, Don.

Well, that would be tweaking a tweak. A little extreme. :)

Yes you are right. :) Not easy. If you raised the catalog tweaks to UI you could also place that 'switch' into any category's context menu. :maf: But, I understand that you might not want to do that. Maybe the time is not ripe for it yet. No problem. :ugeek: :cup:
