I am inclined to suggest - from my non Chinese point of view - that maybe it would be better to call both Chinese language files like:

ChineseSimplified.lng
ChineseTraditional.lng

In this way - at least in my perception - they would be positioned at a more natural place in the list of language files and - hopefully - that is also the natural place Chinese people will look at.

MikeHsiao, I hope you agree if we change the filename to ChineseTraditional.

I found the term 06.0706 & 06.0711 are same.
(They refer to 06.0707 & 06.0712)

But 06.0711 mismatch with 06.0712, maybe it has somthing wrong.

Yes, there are quite a few duplicates. This is a consequence of the applied logic and ultimately has performance reasons.

The 06.0711 should be the explanation of 06.0712.
But it looks like doesn't match.

06.0711 = "Larger lists are not cached. A value higher than 1000 is not recommended."
06.0712 = "Level-indent width in pixels (1 to 64)"

AH! You are right, that's a bug. 06.0712 should not have any explanation tooltip. A classical Copy+Paste error by me... :roll:

Will be fixed in 8.24. Thanks.

Bug Report!!

In term 16.0004, it should be 'Load', not "Save'.

Thank you! Again a copy and paste error (many years old). This checkbox does not need a tooltip at all. I will remove it.

The term "hash (file)" is hard for me to understand.

Is there anyone can help me to explain the meaning (or function).

Thanks!!

@Don
I am bumping Mike's question, since it is also important to me. I know about hashing algorithm (mapping strings to unique integers, in order to implement ultrafast string access), but what is meant by "hash a file" and similar strings that are to be translated?

OK, this is probably caused by my bad English (and the silence of the, uh, "mothertonguers"). Apparently (quick research) there is no verb "to hash" in English with the meaning I intended: create the hash value of a file (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hash_function). Surprising, I always had the impression that English is infinitely productive when it comes to creating verbs from other words.

So "Error on hashing <$file>:" should probably be changed to "Error on creating the hash of <$file>:", right?

Yes, most probably so, if I am asked. Thank you!

BTW, you write:

I have that impression for German (and many word types, not just verbs).
