alternative portable media players

Post by sweet40 »

hey again lads...

can you please name a few light, portable media players supporting command line I can make use of? video and/or music only as I'm interested in finding the most lightweight options available for those categories.

windows executables, please. PortAmp sounds good but I failed to find any .exe for it. :|

thanks!

1by1 is about as lightweight as you can get. It's a directory based music player. http://mpesch3.de/1by1.html

MPC-Home Cinema is great for video of all types and also light weight. https://mpc-hc.org/
