Very interesting! I'm pretty sure... I want to believe we will get past all this.

Yes. And we all are part of the solution or part of the problem.

Hopefully everyone through out the world is hunkering down if at all possible to kick this thing in the butt.

It's a vain hope from my personal observation. The cultural differences between East Asia and the West are already visible in the different shapes of the infection curves.

Hi Ken,

I hope, you and your family are doing fine!

Yes, I do!

Fortunately, I am amongst the privileged who are able and allowed to work from home (well, sort of a whimp ....).

Best luck to everybody around the world!

We (the whole backyard) just opened the windows and clapped our hands for the medical personal for doing a hard and dangerous work. That was a great moment!

I'm still reserved, the numbers aren't really normalized equally. But one fact has become clear by brutal means: more personal and social freedom means more personal risk.

There haven't been any reported cases in my county in the western part of Virginia but they have closed all schools. It appears that most people in my area are taking this seriously. I had a cruise booked (down payment only thankfully) for June that started in Rome and went on Naples, Sicilia, Trieste, Croatia, Montenegro and Greece and back. Guess who just backed out of that one? :( Disappointed, but there's always next year.

Will be a great trip, something to look forward to!

Take care. Just to repeat what everybody knows: The number of reported cases is only a weak guide. It's crucial to understand that the danger is invisible. People can have it and spread it that don't have any symptoms and might even never get any symptoms. The heaviest spreaders seem to be the folks in their 20s, the socially hyperactive... :)

When we have accepted to be born we also agree to die one day. This is part of the contract.

hey hey, everyone's safe I hope.

a lockdown was initiated over here last week while the transmission rate was miniscule, on paper. Stats look relatively good, on paper, but... well, staying alive yet.
