Maybe look into XY's Info Panel/Reports/Current List/Selected Files only, which might solve that problem too.

Ralph, You're the man !
(took me 15 minutes to find "info Panel" did not have it ticked)

Is there anything XYP cannot do :)

On a tangent, I have XYP 20.80.0400
do I need to upgrade? do I need to purchase another for another computer I am about to buy?
(Have 3 computers on my desk with3 monitors)

Taking into account that new features are added all the time and bugs are usually only squashed in the recent versions, I stay up to date all the time but if the version you have does everything you need and works for you, there is no urgent need to upgrade.
XY licenses are personal, i.e. YOU can use them on as many computers as you like.

Thanks Ralph,
XYP gives me so much pleasure, It has changed my Philatelic journey forever
I sometime feel the need to donate, to show my appreciation,
Dealing with an excess of 400,000 images was a beast working in ACDSee

Now it is a pleasure, how XYP can find a single image in a group of 400,000
in seconds leaves me in abject awe.

Cheers
