Ideas for the path (lines) of the directory tree

1: Allow to set the line type: (lines, dots, lines plus dots, other)
1.1: set the linetype for the main path of each directory and another linetype for the subdirectories.

2: Mark the different paths with different colors: main directories of each disk in one color and subdirectories in another color.

3: When marking a line, go to the root directory.

4: When passing the cursor or pointer over a path, put in bold, the lines of the main directory and its derivatives.
