Funky music in the video, not so funky review: http://download.cnet.com/XYplorer/3000- ... 99196.html

They downgraded my rating from 4.5 (Outstanding) to 4.0 (Excellent), apparently based on the bizarre claim (the only "Con" in the review) : "Freeware with similar capabilities to XYplorer isn't hard to find." :veryconfused: Well, better reviewers aren't hard to find either. :titter:

PS: Here is the YouTube link to that funky video:

Yes, very clever double entendre for those reading this forum! But most won't get the true meaning without looking it up. Here in the States that 23rd chromosome pair no longer has the definitive significance it once did.

Thanks for the link!

BTW, again this "no 64bit drag and drop" myth surfaces in the comments. I don't want to discuss it in this thread, please, just for the record: drag and drop has nothing to do with bitness, and of course you can drag and drop from and to 64bit apps.

I praised Xyplorer in DSLReports BUT I can't direct you there because you would have to sign up to read it.

The FREE edition is interfering with the paid versions.

"Been using the paid version for years. It is much more program than I will ever use but that which I use - I love.

Plus the license is for ALL of your computers."

Well, the FREE version is so good that many have no reason to pay for it.

"To be honest, if you’re looking for an alternative, you could stop searching right now. XYplorer is possibly the best replacement for Windows File Explorer."
