No preview auto start for mp3, mp2 and avi files

Post by brianhuahin »

Using XYplorer 25.40 on Windows 11 updated.
Preview of MP3, MP2 and Avi files does not auto start see attached screen shots.
They play with the appropriate app when double clicked.
MKV,MP4,FLV,MPG,MOV,WAV & M4A work fine. Is this normal?

In the Preview Pane those file types are handled by Windows Media Player. Never found a way to auto start this thing.

Use the Preview Tab (F12) instead.

Thanks for the advice
Strangely FreeCommander does it but that's no consolation to you. Maybe you will, have an Einstein moment.

It's always nice to know that it's possible.
