Release 15.50



XYplorer 15.50 has been released on 29-Jul-2015. Here’s a quick introduction to the main new features:

  • Smart Right Click. Enjoy smart context menus on Name, Size, and Date columns.

    Name: Hold CTRL and right-click any cell in a Name column and you will get something like this:

    Click any of the bottom items to copy path, name, or base name to the clipboard.

    Size: Already added in 15.40.

    Date: Hold CTRL and right-click any cell in a Date column (Modified, Created, Accessed) and you will get something like this. The date in various formats and the age at the very bottom:

    Don't know about your time, but the Smart Right Click will surely save some of mine.

  • Date Picker. Finally there is an easier way to enter dates into the find-by-date interface.

    Find the buttons to pop the new Date Picker on the Info Panel (F12) | Find Files | Date:

  • Photo Data. Now Exposure Program and Exposure Bias are displayed in the photo data.

    In Large Tiles view hold CTRL and right-click any caption to toggle Show Photo Data:

  • Histogram. The image preview now features an optional luminosity histogram.

    In the Floating Preview Ctrl+H will toggle the histogram.

  • Invert and Grayscale. Images can now be previewed inverted (negative) and/or converted to grayscale.

    In the Floating Preview Ctrl+I will toggle the inversion.

  • Obfuscate. Quickly obfuscate all sensitive information in the interface. (Pro Edition Only)
